Water Polo gets a rest & we get ready for Speed
After the summer season and both boys and girls seasons, Ramona’s Water Polo players are starting to shift gears and prepare the quest for speed as we gear up for swim season 2014.
Water Polo Re-Cap:Ramona’s Boys took away our 5th consecutive league championship this past season, coming through league play undefeated.
Ramona’s Girls team continued to build this year, developing both a defense and counter attack that earned them a 400% increase in wins over the previous year, despite having graduated the majority of last year’s varsity squad. Great work girls!
Swim Season Pre-view:
This year we are looking at having one of the largest swim teams Ramona has ever seen. Since the beginning of school, 6th period swim has been laying the foundation and now we are ready to take our momentum from Water Polo and push into the racing season. Coming on as assistant coaches this season will be one of CBU’s Womens swim team captain Anna Megli, and Ramona Alumni and former team captain Luke Scalf. We are very excited about this upcoming Swim season and hope you come out on race-day and cheer on your Ramona Rams!
